Biodegradable Disposable Plates Seize Market Opportunities as Green Tableware Industry Accelerates Upgrading
As national regulations restricting plastics are implemented, the disposable plate industry is accelerating its transition toward eco-friendly and sustainable practices. Plates made from paper pulp, bagasse (sugarcane pulp), and plant-based biodegradable materials are gradually replacing traditional non-degradable plastic plates, finding wide application in scenarios such as home banquets, outdoor gatherings, food delivery, and exhibition events.
Working principle of corrugated cardboard production line
A corrugated board production line is a streamlined production line that processes roll paper into corrugated sections, applies glue, bonds, sewn and pressed, cross-cuts into standard sizes, and finally stacks and outputs the finished product. For example, a single-faced corrugated board production line typically consists of a roll paper support, a single-faced corrugated board forming machine, and a rotary paper cutter unit. It uses roll paper material and potato or corn starch adhesive to continuously produce and cut single-faced corrugated board into the required specifications. The produced board does not require further drying. When used in conjunction with a gluing machine or laminating machine, it can produce corrugated board with three or more layers.

Corrugated cardboard production line
According to the corrugated board production process, a corrugated board production line consists of two relatively independent process sections: wet-end equipment and dry-end equipment. The wet-end equipment mainly includes a base paper holder, automatic splicer, preheater/preheater, single-facer, paper conveyor bridge, glue coater, and double-facer, etc., which processes the corrugated base paper into three-, five-, and seven-layer corrugated board with different flute combinations. The dry-end equipment mainly includes a rotary cutter, slitting and creasing machine, cross-cutting machine, and stacker, etc., which performs slitting, creasing, cross-cutting, and stacking of the corrugated board according to order requirements.
What are eco-friendly tableware made of?
